Topic: Closed Doors, Open Doors

Text: Acts 16:9, NIV
During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.”

If you read Acts 16, before the apostle Paul got his call from God to preach the gospel in Macedonia on his second missionary journey, the Holy Spirit had kept him from preaching in the province of Asia and Bithynia.

Paul could have gotten discouraged and wondered what was wrong, but he knew that sometimes God closes a door that we think should be open because He’s going to open another door that we’ve never gone through.

Maybe you didn’t get the promotion you worked so hard for, or a relationship didn’t work out. That’s in the past. It’s over and done. You may not understand it, it may not seem fair, but don’t over worry yourself. God shut the door. Now keep moving forward, keep feeding your faith, keep feeding your hopes and dreams, keep feeding your confidence, keep feeding your destiny. At the right time, God will open the right door for you.

Prayer
Father, thank You that closed doors are not the end, but they help me find the open doors You have for me. Help me to keep feeding my faith and confidence. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
